School Nurse
Welcome to the Evans Preschool Center Health Office!
My name is Angela Bezel, RN and I am the School Nurse at Evans Preschool Center. My goal is to help every child stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn. I look forward to partnering with our families to support the health and well-being of all students.
Health Office Services
The Health Office provides:
- First aid and care for illnesses and injuries
- Management of chronic health conditions (asthma, allergies, diabetes, seizures, etc.)
- Medication administration during school hours
- Vision, hearing, height, and weight screenings

- Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
- A contagious rash or illness
- Red, draining eyes (possible conjunctivitis)

Reporting Your Child’s Absence

When reporting an absence, please provide:
- Your child’s name and teacher
- The reason for the absence
- Any specific illness symptoms (such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, sore throat, or rash)
Providing detailed symptoms helps the Health Office monitor and track illnesses within our school community and supports efforts to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses.
Immunizations & Physicals
Please ensure your child’s:
- Immunizations are up to date.
- Required health forms are submitted before the start of school.
- Any new medical diagnoses or medications are reported to the Health Office.
Medications at School
If your child needs medication during school hours:
- Medication must be in its original labeled container.
